Pictured is a statue of the Franciscan friar, Saint Anthony of Padua in a niche on Via Urbana in Bologna, Italy. He is holding a book and the infant child Jesus, two of his attributes. The building today is the Barracks Cialdini, the military command of the Emilo-Romagno army. But in 1456 at the request of the Franciscans and the governors of Bologna, Catherine of Bologna established the Monastery of Corpus Domini where she remained abbess there until her death in 1463.
