The statue was sculptured in 13th century, and unearthed from the basement of Sea-Cloud (Haiyun) pagoda in Beijing in 20th century. According to research, the statue is of a great Buddhist, master Yinjian, who was living in Jin Dynasty. Now, the statue is exhibited in Beijing Capital Museum.
