Statue dedicated to poet Manuel saltillense Acula, carved in Carrara marble in 1900 by artist hodrocálido Jesus F (ructuoso) Contreras. He exhibited at the Mexican pavilion at the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1900, along with the famous piece Malgre-Tout, where the author earned the band of the Legion of Honor. Remained since then in the courtyard of the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City
