Gök Madrasa is one of the most important structures where Turkish architecture and decorative arts can be seen together. From the inscriptions in various parts of the building, it is understood that it was built in 1271 by Vizir Owner Ata Fahreddin Ali during the reign of Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev, son of Kılıçaraslan-IV.
