The South Bank Lion, also known as the Coade Stone Lion was originally red in colour and stood at the entrance arch of The Lion Brewery near Hungerford Bridge. It was moved to its present position at the South bank on Westminster Bridge, London, England, UK, in 1951 after the Brewery was blitzed during the War
