One of the many drainage ditches that criss cross the flat landscape of the Somerset levels, taken late evening. In times of heavy rainfall, these drains rapidly fill, and the waters pumped into the sea, as in early 2014. Lack of ongoing maintenance, was blamed for vast areas of flooding on these levels.
