This is a picture of Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The stadium was designed by the Architects Holabird & Roche. The stadium opened on October 9, 1924. In 2002 the stadium interior was gutted and a new stadium interior was built. The exterior Doric Columns highlighted the exterior design. On February 17, 2006 the stadium lost its designation as a National Historic Landmark designation as a result of the renovation. This picture was taken on November 2, 2014
