Yading is a national reserve in the southwest of Sichuan Province, China. Unknown to the outside world until the late 1990s, it is a mountain sanctuary and major pilgrimage site comprising three 6000m+ peaks sanctified by the 5th Dalai Lama and seen as emanations of the three boddhisatvas Chenrezig, Jampayang and Chenadorje. This snow mountain is one of them. And at it's foot is a lake.
