Sinictinogomphus clavatus, commonly known as comb-footed dragonfly in Chinese, is an elegant dragonfly that is commonly found around rice fields. This dragonfly has a slender body with unique blue and black markings. Their wings are slender and transparent, and they fly gracefully and agilely.In the greenery of the rice fields, you can often see the comb-legged dragonfly resting on the rice stalks. They usually choose to perch on the stems in the middle of the rice stalks, and use their slender claws to gently attach to the surface of the rice stalks, as if they are a fresh picture. They rest quietly here, enjoying the afternoon breeze, or looking for small insects around them for delicious lunch.As part of the rice field ecosystem, the comb-footed dragonfly not only adds vitality to the field, but also regulates the balance of the insect community. Their existence makes people feel the beauty and harmony of nature, and also reminds us to cherish the ecological environment and protect the home of these beautiful creatures.
