The post-Cistercian abbey in Krzeszów - a complex of the highest world-class monuments, whose origins date back to the 13th century. The abbey, called the European pearl of the Baroque, belongs to the diocese of Legnica, previously inhabited by Benedictine and Cistercian monks. It is located in Krzeszów, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. In 2004 it was recognized as a historical monument. Some of the facilities are open to visitors. There is the Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on site. In the monastery part there is the Abbey of the Benedictine Sisters, expatriated in 1946 from the monastery and the church.
