POKHARA, NEPAL - APRIL 2014 : A bronze statue representing Siddhartha's birth, housed in Pokhara Shanti Stupa, World Peace Pagoda on 15 April 2014 in Pokhara, Nepal. Shanti Stupa was built in 1996 by Nipponzan-Myohoji monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of a Buddhist monk, Nichidatsu Fujii, as a symbol of peace.
