Shihlin Veuve Church is a freestanding building built in 1950 with a red tiled exterior, and was the small sanctuary of Chiang Kai-shek and his wife. The building was designated as a municipal monument on July 14, 2000, and then a national monument on May 25, 2005, and opened on January 2, 2011.
