The Shaolin Monastery is one of the most famous places in China. It`s temple is visited by many Buddhists as it is an important place of zen buddhizm. It is a center of Kung Fu. The monastery is surrounded by mountains. Some chapels are located on their tops. You can arrive there using the cable railway. You can also visit the `Forest of pagodas` and watch the Kung Fu show. There are the signs of long trainings of the students of the monastery: the holes in the trees and in the floor. The monks are mostly hidden from the tourists. There are many legends connected with the temple. Most famous are about Hui Ke and Bodhidharma.
