Setagaya Hachimangu Shrine, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, JapanWith a ring of earth remaining from ancient times and water falling from a small waterfall, it is a pleasant sanctuary despite its location in a residential area. The origin of the shrine dates back more than 900 years ago, when the warlord Minamoto no Yoshie stayed in this area on his way back from battle, and during his stay, he invited the spirit of Usa Hachimangu Shrine to the shrine and dedicated sumo wrestling to it.
