Science World is a family attraction that features hands-on interactive exhibits and displays, as well as live science shows. The round building is located at the end of False Creek and was originally built as the Expo Centre for the Expo 86 World’s Fair. The building was re-purposed as a science center in the year following the Expo. During the 2010 Winter Olympics, the building housed a hospitality area called “Sochi World”, representing Russia, the hosts of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Science World can be found along the pedestrian and bike path that surrounds the False Creek Olympic Village area in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
