Scabiosa cretica (or Lomelosia cretica), also know as Balearic Pincushion Flower, is a woody perennial with numerous beautiful pink flowers. Unlike its name suggest, this species is native of mountainous regions on Mallorca (Spain) and Sicily (Italy).
