The sandcastle of Lappeenranta is the biggest in Finland. It is situated at the end of the harbour cape.More than 20 artists from Finland and abroad are involved in the creation of magnificent sand sculptures. Sandcastle and all sand characters are build only with sand and water.The theme changes every year. This sand image was evoked by great music of Jean Sibelius, famous Finnish composer.
