San Antonio trullo church in the sunset light. Alberobello was founded in the 15th century on land that was originally an oak forest in the province of Bari. A typical feature of Alberobello are the trulli, white dry-stone houses with conical roofs made of lapidary stones. In 1996, the town of Alberobello became a world heritage site.
