The Love is Universal section is located to the right of center of Salvation Mountain and was featured as the background for the members of the band Coldplay as part of the Album booklet in the `A Head Full of Dreams` album. Salvation Mountain is a tribute to God and was created by Leonard Knight as a gift to the work expressing the statement, `God is love` boldly painted at the top of the mountain. The mountain is 50 feet high and 150 feet wide and is made totally of local adobe clay and donated paint. The mountain is located near Slab City in Imperial County, California, several miles from the Salton Sea.
