Mural painted by citizens of Sallisaw, Oklahoma between 1993-1999. The GFWC-Onawa Study Club commissioned the mural, and local artists added their pieces. Featured is Sequoyah, an American Indian silversmith who had lived in the area and created a Cherokee Syllabary.
