Saint Anthony Church, the oldest religious building maintained in its original aspect in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. It was built in the middle of the 16th century during the reign of Wallachian hospodar Mircza Pastucha. Originally, the temple was part of the palace complex and for over two hundred years, until 1842, it was the coronation site of the Wallachian rulers.
