Due to the development of the cult of the Holy Family, the cult of Saint was also promoted. Anna, whose ardent advocate was the Krzeszów monastery. Therefore, around 1623, a chapel dedicated to her was built on Saint Anne's Mountain, and in 1674, abbot Bernard Rosa established the Brotherhood of Saint Anne at the church. Cult of Saint Anna spread in Silesia, among others. as one of the instruments of the Counter-Reformation. For these reasons, in the years 1703-1717, Abbot Dominik Geyer built a pilgrimage road to the chapel. The chapel was very popular with pilgrims, services were held here, especially solemn and numerous on the patron's day. It was rebuilt, among others. in 1674, 1722 and 1886. After World War II, the building fell into ruin. Thanks to the efforts of current and former residents of Krzeszów and its surroundings and thanks to the generosity of sponsors, the chapel was restored.
