It is a reduced copy of Horezu Monastery and its built of stone quarry. It is an Orthodox church built in 1889, founded by King Carol I and Queen Elisabeth, which are painted in natural size in the narthex. Cruciform church, has two towers of different shapes and was built by Italian team of workers led by architect Pietro Dreossi.
