This is a Winter picture of the iconic River Point Building on an ice strewn Chicago River located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The 52 story State-of-the-art Office building opened in 2017. This picture also features the phenomenon of ice spikes on the upper floors. This structure won the 2017 Chicago Building Congress Merit Ward. This picture was taken on January 5, 2018.
