Pictured is a replica of an Indian Board Track Racer produced in the USA circa 1913 on display in the Haas Moto Museum and Sculpture Gallery in Dallas, Texas. The Indian Motorcycle company was founded by George M. Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom in 1901 and independent operations ended in 1953 and resumed in 1999. They were purchased by Polaris Industries in 2011.
