This colonial building was built by English governor called Torrington at the time of British rule. As 30 years war in Sri Lanka this was ruined collapsed. In 2012 this was renovated and now it has been a land mark in Colombo. Now it is uses as a shopping male and place to stay leisurely. This place has named as Torrington Square.
