From a fortress and later a manor house into a Baroque chateau was introduced by Karel Frantisek Lescourant. In 1744, the fief of Stablovice with the castle was taken over by Karel Otto Count Salm - Neuburg. Maxmilian Jindrich Sobek of Kornice acquired it by marriage for the years 1759 to 1771. The Sobek - Skal family from Kornice owned the castle until the end of World War II.
