Taking photos of these insect sized birds are so challenging. You either have to be sitting right by the feeder at all times of just get there in time. Hummingbirds do not sit still for too long and are quick to fly off making it near impossible to achieve perfect focus. I took a picture of this guy as he was sipping some nectar from the hummingbird feeder. I love how cute he looks as he is using his needle like beak to get into the really small hole to get nectar. This picture was taken on my deck in the East Coventry township outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
