Originally built over the Thames River in London in the 1830`s, the bridge was deemed unsafe for modern traffic and sold to American Robert McCulloch in 1967. It was carefully dismantled and moved to a new development at Lake Havasu, Arizona. The original stones clad a modern, reinforced concrete structure. It was completed in 1971.
