This is a Spring picture of Historic Recitation Hall today known as Jackson Hall on the campus of Kentucky State University located in Frankfort, Kentucky in Franklin County. This structure formally opened on October 11, 1887, it was the first permanent building of State Normal School for Colored Persons. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1973. This picture was taken on June 3, 2017.
