Pictured is a sculpture titled `Reach` located in the Janet and Michael Greene Research Quadrangle of the University of Texas at Arlington. Art Assistant Professor Darryl Lauster designed the piece, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci`s Helical Aerial Screw, a 15th-century sketch of a gyroscopic flying machine. It spans 26 feet and has a central aluminum mast with radiating ribs of Dacron sailcloth.
