The Mexican fruit fly is a plague that affects various fruits mostly citrus and mango in Mexico and Central America. Two days ago 7/15/16, some men came from USDA to check out my citrus trees the one on the picture is an orange tree. They said our section has been quarantined because some Mexican have been found on the area. The men said took sample and said they will call us back within two weeks to tell us if it is infected and if it is they will be putting traps and pesticides.
