He was an American investor, National Geographic photographer, and founder of the Haas Moto Museum and Sculpture Gallery in 2018. He had begun collecting motorcycles in 2012. He was the executive producer of the film Leaving Tracks, which documented his motorcycle collecting and profiled several custom motorcycle builders he patronized to contribute to his collection.
