It owes its name to the temple of Venus which was located in the place where the romantic and ancient church of San Pietro stands, on the furthest point of the promontory. A seaside village on the Riviera di Levante with its own charm, one of the most beautiful and most photographed places in Liguria. From a fishing village it has turned into a stronghold on the sea, of which it still retains the walls. The fishermen`s boats arrive at the marina and along the pier you will be welcomed by the restaurants and the tall and colorful buildings that are reflected in the sea.
