The natural phenomenon `Petrified Forest` `Pobiti kamani` represents seven large and several small separate groups of formations, located north and south of Lake Beloslav.
These are numerous limestone columns up to 10 m high, hollow or solid cylinders, intersecting cones, simple rocks and crags. The `Petrified Forest` is the only place in Bulgaria where evidence of human life from the Mesolithic period has been discovered.
It is located 3 km from the village of Slanchevo, 20 km west of Varna, Bulgaria.
The stone columns were included in the UNESCO Heritage.
