The standard engine in the Plymouth Road Runner during its lengthy production run was the 383 6.3L 4 barrel Carter carburetor. The engine produced 335 HP and had 425 foot pounds of torque. This engine has a lot of get-up-and-go. I had a similar engine in my 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury and it produced 348 HP.
