A plank is timber that is flat, elongated, and rectangular with parallel faces that are higher and longer than wide. Used primarily in carpentry, planks are critical in the construction of ships, houses, bridges, and many other structures. Planks also serve as supports to form shelves and tables. Luce is the largest settlement and the centre of the Municipality of Luce in northern Slovenia. The city is located on the right side of the river Savinja, belongs to the traditional region of Styria and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Luce is home to Snow Cave on Mount Raduha, which is the highest-elevation tourist cave in Slovenia.
