Delft, Sri Lanka - February 18, 2017: A pigeon nest tower located near the post office on the Sri Lankan island of Delft. The island was named by Dutch colonials after the town in the Netherlands. The small island is sparsely populated. Delft has emerged relatively unscathed from the recently ended conflict and has kept its charm from the old days. It is accessible by ferry from a harbor on the Jaffna Peninsula.
