This German cemetery was created in the autumn of 1914. At the end of the war, the soldiers exhumed in the neighboring towns were gathered there. 3017 soldiers rest there. In its center was erected a stone monument of Jaumont. It is an arch symbolizing the passage to the afterlife. It is surmounted by a recumbent lion which symbolizes submission.
