Pictured is a photography spot in Marfa, Texas referring to the famous Marfa mystery lights. The lights draw people from around the globe to see this unexplained phenomenon first noted in 1883 by a young cowhand, Robert Reed Ellison. Mysterious orbs of light suddenly appear above desert foliage and may remain stationary or dart across the desert. Light colors are usually yellow-orange but other hues including green, blue and red are also seen.
