Is formed by a deposit of fossils of ancient plants dating back some 25 million years ago. It can be found in the vicinity of lake Omodeo, the largest artificial lake in Italy, on the eastern side, in the village of Soddì. Unfortunately, because of continued looting by visitors, Foresta pietrificata di Zuri - Soddì is severely depleted and the remaining fossils are heavily damaged.
