The famous Perseus and Andromeda fountain, one of the finest and largest in Europe, as seen looking from within the salon/smoking room and through the south portico at Witley Court. The fountain was designed by William Andrews Nesfield and constructed between 1854 - 1859. The sculptor was James Forsyth and there are 120 water jets hidden within the Portland stone structure.
