Update: Nearly a century of historic service, Penang's heritage car-carrying ferries ceased operations on Dec 31, 2020 and replace with Vietnamese made passenger boat. Car-carrying ferries were built under the British consulting firm from 1953. It was built at Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong Shipyard.
