Sunlight breaks through the clouds and onto the hills in the background. A flagstone path leads through one of the wildflower meadows in Muker, Swaledale, part of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The fields are actively farmed and the grass cut for hay during the summer months. Usually covered in a swathe of buttercups (Ranunculus bulbosus) the lack of rain has meant a lack of bright yellow flowers this year. June 2023
