Pascale Bercovitch is an Israeli paralympic athlete. Was born in France. In her youth, she was an athletics champion. On December 1984, aged 17, she slipped and got pulled under a train, causing the amputation of both of her legs above the knee. Yet she never lost her optimism. Following her immigration to Israel, she began practicing disabled sports and became a paralympic medalist. This shot: on 22 January 2014, Pascale Bercovitch is lecturing in Tel-Aviv about her fate, her optimism and her strength, and her becoming a disabled sports medalist.
