Parc Güell is a park in Barcelona. It was designed and constructed by Antoni Gaudí together with his assistant Josep Maria Jujol in the years 1900-1914. In 1984, it was designated by UNESCO as a world heritage site. It was initially not intended to become a park but was a construction project for a residential area with exclusive plots. The park is very big and unparalleled with its natural shapes, spiral-shaped towers, stairs and giant lizards. In addition, much in the park is filled with mosaics.
