Ema Heap is an Ostrava conical heap a man-made hill in Silesian Ostrava on the right bank of the Ostravice River in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Its top was demonstrably at a height of 325m. Due to burning, settling and mining activities, the height of the Emy heap has decreased, its height is reported to be 312 to 315 m. It consists of millions of tons of tailings mined from Ostrava mines area: 82 hectares, volume: over 28 million m2. Its origins probably date back to before 1920
