Kalimantan gibbons, kalimantan ungko gibbons, or kalawet gibbons Hylobates albibarbis are a type of arboreal apes that are spread limited endemic in the interior of Kalimantan, Indonesia, especially in the southwestern part of the island between the Kapuas Kalbar and Barito Kalteng rivers. . In the local language it is known as kalaweit or kalawet, and in English it is called Bornean white-bearded gibbon; Bornean agile gibbon; or southern gibbon. Kalawet words themselves come from the Dayak Ngaju language in Central Kalimantan meaning `monkey without a tail`.
