Orthosiphon aristatus or Cat's whiskers is an annual erect herb in the family Lamiaceae. The leaves are green, pointed and serrated at the edges with pinnate veins. The flowers form clusters towering upwards, are white with glands, the veins and base of the hair are short and sparse, while at the top it is bald. Some parts of this plant are commonly used as medicine for certain diseases by local people. The common name of this plant is Java Tea, Kidneys tea plant, (Kumis kucing)-Indonesian.
