New York, New York, USA - June 20, 2023: The original torch from the Statue of Liberty (also called Liberty Enlightening the World), currently on display in the Liberty Museum on Liberty Island. The statue carried this torch from 1886 to 1984. After nearly a century, the torch was replaced by one that was more durable, and better matched the vision of the statue’s designer.
